When using the list, consider these points:

• Any posting goes to entire to all subscribers instantly

• You must send email from the address you signed up with.
  Other From: address will not go through.

• This list could generate some traffic in your inbox

• This is a support email list for sharing information and ideas

• Refrain from harassing people and stirring up trouble or you will be removed

What is an Email Discussion List

The Problem: If 20 people want to communicate, all 20 people have to constantly update their own email list adding new users as they join. If someone wants to stop receiving messages they have to notify everyone, adding a lot of noise to the communications. New people joinging such a group have to 'get the list of emails' all the time and always do Reply All to make sure they catch everyone. As the number of people grows, this becomse very unmanageable and chaotic.

The Solution: That's why there are List Archives

These allow users to join/leave a list whenever they want. They also store the List Archives on the web so new members can view and search the archives of what has been said in the past.

Users subscribe or unsubscribe whenever they want and can email each other without having to remember everyone's email.
